These appear to show members of 'Gruppo Centauri Trieste' - a motorcycling club- but was thre an event?
These cards are dated 28/3/48.

I agree. It must be from the early years (1952?) of Speedway in Trieste, on the 'Dirty (Sand) Track' of Montebello Racecourse.
